Terms of Service

MarriageHunt is a private membership community for people interested in intentional life-building, including partnership and marriage. We run a member directory and let members host free meetups. We do not operate a dating service, a matchmaking service, or a marriage brokerage.

We do not pair members with each other. We do not promise romantic outcomes. We do not arrange introductions for dating. Any relationship that forms between members is organic and outside the scope of our service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to marriagehunt.com and related services (the "Platform"). By creating an account, paying for membership, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use MarriageHunt.

By using the Platform, you represent that:

• You are at least 18.
• You have the legal capacity to enter these Terms.
• The information you provide is accurate.
• You are not prohibited from using the Platform under applicable law.

We may suspend or close accounts that do not meet these requirements.

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@marriagehunt.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

One person, one account. You may not share login credentials, sell access, or let others use your membership. We may close accounts we reasonably believe are being shared.

4.1 Annual membership

Access to member features requires an annual membership fee of Loading membership price USD. Membership is a subscription that renews automatically each year until you cancel. You can cancel renewal any time from your settings and your access stays active until the end of the paid period.

Meetups are hosted by members, free to RSVP, and visible to members only. Everyone covers their own tab at the venue.

4.2 Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers.

4.3 Refunds

Membership is application based. If you are accepted, the annual membership fee is not refundable, except where the law requires it.

You can cancel renewal from Membership in settings. Canceling stops the next charge. It does not return the fee for the current year.

Member messaging and meetups exist for conversation and peer support. They are not a dating marketplace.

Do

• Treat other members with respect.
• Share useful, honest information.
• Respect privacy and stated boundaries.
• Report behavior that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

Do not

• Use the Platform primarily to solicit romantic or sexual encounters.
• Harass, stalk, or intimidate anyone.
• Share another member's personal information without consent.
• Post hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or discriminatory content.
• Spam, scam, or pitch unrelated products.
• Create fake profiles or misrepresent who you are.
• Solicit commercially without our written consent.

Full standards live in our Community Guidelines. Violations can lead to warnings, suspension, or a permanent ban without a refund.

Members host free in-person meetups. Locations and RSVPs are members only. We do not guarantee the safety of attendees. We do not assume liability for what happens at or around a meetup.

You attend at your own risk. Meet in public places. Tell a friend your plans. Leave if something feels wrong.

7.1 Our content

Articles, graphics, logos, and software on the Platform belong to MarriageHunt or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7.2 Your content

You keep ownership of content you post. You grant MarriageHunt a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content in order to operate and promote the Platform.

You may not:

• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated systems to access the Platform.
• Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Platform.
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the Platform.
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose.
• Circumvent access controls or the membership fee.

We may suspend or close your account, without notice or refund, if we determine that you violated these Terms, committed fraud, or put the community at risk.

You may close your account at any time by emailing support@marriagehunt.com. Access ends when the account is closed. Terms that should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The Platform will meet your personal goals.
• The Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• Any relationship formed through the community will be safe or successful.

We do not guarantee that you will meet a partner, spouse, or any specific person through MarriageHunt.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MARRIAGEHUNT AND ITS FOUNDER, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

Our total liability for any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for membership (Loading membership price USD), regardless of the legal theory.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MarriageHunt and its founder from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your violation of another person's rights, or content you post.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.

If a dispute arises, the parties will first try to resolve it in good faith. If that fails, the dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, seated in the United States.

YOU AGREE TO BRING CLAIMS ONLY IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

We do not currently publish a street address. Legal notices may be sent to legal@marriagehunt.com.

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will email you or post a notice on the Platform before it takes effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the revised Terms.

• Severability. If one provision is invalid, the rest remain in force.
• Waiver. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
• Entire agreement. These Terms are the full agreement between you and MarriageHunt for use of the Platform.
• Assignment. We may assign these Terms. You may not assign them without our written consent.
