Community Guidelines

Last Updated: September 3, 2026

MarriageHunt is only as good as its members. These guidelines protect the quality of the room so people can participate fully. By joining, you agree to hold this standard.

1. The Spirit of This Place

This is a community for people building intentional lives.

  • We assume good intent.
  • We share generously.
  • We respect boundaries.
  • We treat disagreement as useful, not as a problem.

If you came to extract value without contributing, or to treat members as targets, this is not the community for you.

2. What We Encourage

Be specific and useful

Share real experience, real numbers, and real tradeoffs. "Dating is hard" does not help. "Here is what worked for me in my 30s, and here is what I would do differently" does.

Be generous with knowledge

If someone asks a question you can answer, answer it. Pooled experience is the product.

Respect different timelines

Some members want to marry within a year. Some are still figuring out the next five. Both belong here. Do not pressure or shame someone for moving at a different pace.

Be honest about intent

If you are here to promote a service, ask before posting. If you are not open to a serious partnership, do not present yourself as someone who is.

3. What We Do Not Tolerate

  • Harassment of any kind, including unwanted romantic advances, sexual comments, intimidation, doxxing, stalking, or sustained hostility.
  • Solicitation and spam. Do not use the community mainly to promote products, services, or other groups. Do not pitch in DMs.
  • Misrepresentation. No fake profiles, false age or relationship status, or catfishing.
  • Hate speech and discrimination, including attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
  • Explicit sexual content. This is not that platform.
  • Sharing another person's private information, including private-message screenshots or contact details without consent.
  • Unsafe behavior around events. Do not organize private one-on-one meetings through the Platform without clear mutual consent.

4. How We Handle Violations

  • First violation: a private warning.
  • Second violation: a temporary suspension of 7 to 30 days.
  • Third violation: a permanent ban. No refund.

Severe cases (harassment, threats, doxxing, fraud) can result in an immediate ban with no warning. We do not debate those decisions.

5. Event Rules

Members host meetups in public venues. RSVP is free. Show up as yourself. Everyone covers their own tab.

  • Arrive on time and stay for the meetup you RSVPed to.
  • Treat every attendee with respect, in the room and after.
  • Do not pitch products or services at meetups.
  • Do not attend under a false name.

MarriageHunt does not vet attendees. You attend at your own risk. Tell a friend where you are going. Trust your instincts. Leave if you feel uncomfortable.

6. Reporting

If you see a violation:

  • Use Report on the profile or message.
  • Email support@marriagehunt.com.
  • Include screenshots, timestamps, and a short description.

We read every report. We will not identify you to the person you reported without your consent.

7. Appeals

If you believe a suspension or ban was a mistake, email support@marriagehunt.com within 14 days. Explain why the decision was wrong. We will respond within 7 days. Appeal decisions are final.

8. Changes

We may update these guidelines as the community grows. Material changes will be emailed or announced in-product. Continued use after a change is acceptance.

9. Questions

Email support@marriagehunt.com.
